Engineered Flue Gas Recirculation & Staged Combustion

Saudi Boilers delivers complete low-emission combustion packages to meet stringent Saudi Vision 2030 environmental mandates. By routing a portion of inert, cool flue gas back into the combustion air supply stream, Flue Gas Recirculation lowers peak flame temperatures below the threshold where Thermal NOx is formed.

Flame Temperature Quenching

Inert flue gas acts as a thermal heat sink, suppressing peak flame zone temperatures below 1,540°C to inhibit Thermal NOx.

Parallel Element Servo Control

Independent motorized FGR dampers and variable frequency drive (VFD) blowers synchronized with O2 combustion feedback.

Flue Gas Recirculation & Combustion Technologies

Induced FGR (IFGR)

Draws flue gas directly into the combustion air fan suction port. Simple, highly reliable retrofit requiring minimal structural ductwork changes.

Forced FGR (FFGR)

Utilizes a dedicated high-temperature booster fan to inject up to 25% flue gas into the burner windbox for maximum emission reduction.

Staged-Air & Fuel Burners

Ultra-Low NOx burner nozzles divide air and fuel into primary and secondary reaction zones, delaying peak flame temperature creation.

Digital O2 Trim & CEMS

Zirconia O2 sensing coupled with Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEMS) dynamically trims FGR damper ratios under changing loads.
